Privacy Policy

Social Sync (“we”, “us”) provides software that lets you connect and control your own phones and automate posting to your own social accounts. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. It covers social-sync.io and the Social Sync app.

Information we collect

  • Account details — your name and email, held by our authentication provider so you and your team can sign in.
  • Agency & team data — the teammates (VAs) you invite and the phones you assign to them.
  • Content you upload — media you place in your Vault to be posted, stored so it can be delivered to your phones.
  • Device information — the names, platform, and connection status of the phones you connect.
  • Public metrics — for the accounts you add, we read publicly visible figures (e.g. followers, views) to show your dashboard.
  • Basic usage & logs — standard technical data needed to run and secure the service.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.
  • We do not store your social-account passwords — you sign into those apps directly on your phones; we never see the credentials.
  • We do not post anything except what you configure and instruct through the app.

How we use your information

To operate the service: authenticate you, let you control your phones, run the automations you set up, deliver your Vault content to your devices, and show your dashboard from public metrics. We also use it to keep the service secure and to provide support.

Service providers

We use a small number of processors to run Social Sync:

  • Supabase — authentication, database, and Vault file storage.
  • Vercel — hosting for the web app.
  • Tailscale — the private network that connects our systems to your controller; your phones are never exposed to the public internet.
  • Telegram — support and, for now, arranging payment.

Retention & your choices

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can ask us to export or delete your data, or to remove specific content or accounts, at any time — contact us and we'll action it promptly. Deleting your account removes your Vault content and associated records.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is scoped to your agency so other customers cannot see your fleet or content. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
